Tenants and Residents Association

About Us

There has been a Tenants and Residents Association (TRA) on Woodvale Estate for many years. Every resident on Woodvale is welcome to be part of the Tenants and Residents Association. We don’t operate a paid membership and so we consider everyone who takes an interest to be part of the group. The committee is made up of residents who volunteer in their spare time. We would love more of you to join us in our quest to make Woodvale the best estate possible. In recent years we have rebuilt the community garden, planted some beautiful spring bulbs, improved some of the planting, improved the bin areas with a redesign(an ongoing project) and had cameras installed to help prevent fly tipping. We have held a number of community social gatherings and we are currently looking into the possibility of getting our own community space, which would allow for more events for our residents.

The committee is made up of 4 Officers and then general committee members who support the Officers. Any resident over 16 is allowed to join as a committee member and can do so at any time of the year, just come to a meeting and ask to join. To put yourself forward for an Officer role (listed below) please email the TRA with a short introduction to yourself and the reasons you would like the role. Officers are voted in once a year at the AGM, usually held in May. Email to: woodvale.estate.tra@gmail.com
